Our Focus on Flowers

Consider the Lilies is a full-service flower shop but we are not a traditional florist. We do offer designs for every occasion and local delivery, however we specialize exclusively in custom floral design, meaning that each arrangement is handcrafted specifically for you - never pulled from existing inventory.

We do not generally keep an open supply of flowers on hand for walk-ins or same-day delivery. Once you place your order, our accredited professional designer sources the blooms needed for your design. This process allows us to provide the highest quality product, but it does typically require a 36-48 hour lead time.

Because all of our designs are custom, we do not offer an online catalog or menu of designs. Flower availability depends on seasonality and our suppliers' inventory - our primary goal is sourcing the freshest and most beautiful materials at the time of your order. Our focus is not on reproducing photos - it is on designing floral pieces that are fresh, seasonal and truly special.  When placing an order, we invite you to think in terms of color palette and style, rather than specific flower varieties. We'll always do our best to incorporate favorite/requested flowers if they are available - but we never compromise on quality.

FAQs

  • When placing an order, what information do I need to provide? -- We require the recipient's name, address and phone number for all deliveries. 
  • Do you deliver on Sundays? -- We will deliver to funerals and memorial services on Sundays.
  • Do you carry artificial flowers? -- We specialize solely on fresh flowers/foliage .
  • Do you design florals for weddings? -- We are not booking full weddings at this time, but we do offer select wedding florals - bouquets, flowers to wear, and centerpieces - based on availability.
  • What price range should I expect for custom florals? --Because each design is custom and made to order, most clients invest between $100-$150 for a floral piece. This allows our designer to source premium blooms and create a one-of-a-kind arrangement for your occasion. We're always happy to design within your comfort level - just let us know your preferred investment when you place an order.
  • Do you offer sympathy & memorial flowers? --Yes. These are the core focus of our studio. We work closely with families - either over the phone or an in-person scheduled consultation - to create designs that are meaningful and honor the life of their loved one.
  • Can I add a gift item to a floral order? --Absolutely! Our gift boutique is a curated collection of bath & body items, candles, baby items, books and more.
